Like all of the Georgia Horton's wallpaper creations the Ribbon and Hues Wallpaper was inspired by nature. In this particular case, a random tangle has somehow seemed to find its own expression. It could be interpreted as an animated - and a little bit cheeky - take on the traditional 'trellis’ design. Her approach is illustrative and unique. Worlds apart from mass produced products, her specialist wallpapers are printed in short runs. Adopting this very traditional and highly skilled method of producing wallpaper pays dividends in the incredible qualities and detail of her designs. Even the more ‘neutral’ colourways have extraordinary clarity and depth. This modern, hand-printed, specialist wallpaper is made in England.
