In this particular case, it was the sensual contemplation of a wall of feathers mashed up with dreams of flying. There is clearly a tactile delight and not a little temptation in the thought stroking the soft, warm feathers. Her approach is illustrative and unique. Worlds apart from mass produced products, her specialist wallpapers are printed in short runs. Adopting this very traditional and highly skilled method of producing wallpaper pays dividends in the incredible qualities and detail of her designs. Even the more ‘neutral’ colourways have extraordinary clarity and depth. This modern, hand-printed, specialist wallpaper is made in England.
